Lauren Barber is a New York based theater maker.

 

Born and Raised in Seattle, Washington, she has bored many people to tears with daily Seattle fun facts (Did you know that the Space Needle, built in 1961 and topping out  at 605' tall, has a center of gravity only ten feet off the ground?) and travels there often for work and pleasure.

 

She graduated in May 2015 with a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Production and Design Studio, with focuses in Scenic and Costume Design.  Since then she has worked across a number of disciplines including theater, television and events.

 

Interested in all aspects of theater-making, Lauren has also worked as a drafter, prop designer and artisan, stitcher, scenic painter, and carpenter.   Click the icon below for a downloadable PDF of her resume.
